Plastigauges
RS Pro plasticgauge provides a simple effective method for the measurement of clearance between fitted surfaces. Ideal for use with mains bearings, pipe flanges, head gasket, high spots, housings, injection moulding tools or where a feeler gauge cannot be inserted.
Note
Care must be taken when measuring gaps below 0.00025in. (0.06mm) to achieve results.
SUPPLIED_WITH : Plastigauge is supplied in packs to suit clearance
Can highlight, clearance, lobing, ovality on shafts
Volumetric measurement takes surface roughness into account
Calibration card supplied
Clearance measurement 0.001in. to 0.020in. (0.025 to 0.5mm) can be taken.
